Snow, timber, and a week under the snow line. A cinematic HTML theme for an alpine chalet — not a booking template.
Alta is a photography-led HTML theme for a single alpine house in the Ötztal. The first viewport is winter cinema: a full-bleed mountain still, italic Fraunces docked bottom-left, and a ghost nav that becomes snow and timber on scroll.
Eleven pages follow a chalet journal — mountain story, timber architecture, stacked room chapters, a week’s board, fire dining, valley, stills, and enquiry. Built for boutique stays that sell atmosphere before availability.
SCSS and compiled CSS ship together. Vanilla JS handles navigation, the stay form, and the lightbox. No framework tax.
What do I get after purchase?
The full HTML, SCSS, compiled CSS, and vanilla JS source ZIP, plus a license key. Live preview stays hosted on VicanTheme.
Does it need npm or a framework?
No. Open index.html. Run a Sass watch only if you want to edit SCSS.
Can I use it for a client site?
Yes, on the Regular License — one end product. Use Extended if the end product charges users (SaaS, paid membership, resale).
Is this a booking engine?
No. It is a marketing site with an enquiry form. Wire the form to your own reservations tool.
1.0.0 — First commercial release. Eleven pages, unique art direction, compiled CSS.
